Remember in Boyz N The Hood when Brandi tells Tre she won’t sleep with him before marriage because she’s Catholic, to which he responds, “But Catholic girls are supposed to be some of the biggest hoochies!” While Tre’s definition of a “hoochie” might be argued, his stance makes sense when looking at female pop stars who’ve found expression and sexual liberation from very strict religious upbringings.
