First look at Emma Watson's new People Tree collection

Sky Showbiz and Marie Claire are running articles about Emma's final People Tree collection. Good news is Emma is modelling the collection herself in the upcoming catalogue. You can see a preview of the clothes at People Tree.  So here's the first photo and statement from Emma about the collection.

 I designed the collection last year after I'd started university in the US,' Emma explained.

'Safia, People Tree's founder, and Misato, People Tree's designer, came out to work with me in Rhode Island. Together we decided on all the colours, fabrics, shapes and craft skills,' she continued.

'Most of all, we took care to design a really wearable collection that truly celebrates the traditional skills of People Tree's Fair Trade groups around the world.'


Vogue says this collection has a more grown up aesthetic; jersey harem pants, sharp blazers and draped dresses feature alongside more girly gingham and polka dot tea dresses....The collection will launch on February 28 to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight.
