For a little FYI about TAR: Tar is a new 300-page biannual art and fashion magazine started by BlackBook founder Evanly Schindler and Maurizio Marchiori of Diesel. The magazine launched last week at the Frieze Art Fair in London.
I couldn't help but notice the Frieze Art fair and Diesel connections.

After a doozy of a Thursday night—six parties in five hours left me beyond taxi-poor—the art world was ready to kick the tar out of the Frieze Art Fair (that’s a pun you’ll understand in a sec) on Friday. That evening, Neville Wakefield and Evanly Schindler’s new art rag, Tar, was fêted at an underground speakeasy on Swallow Street. Rivington Arms’ Melissa Bent and Mirabelle Marden took a booth next to one shared by Venetia Scott and New York art director Patrick Li; Emma Watson and the Kills singer Alison Mosshart held court near the dance floor with artist Adam McEwen and art partrons of the future Eugenie Niarchos.
Emma also came in at number 4 for Vogues best dressed list for the week of 10-20-08. They liked her Diesel XXX Rock & Roll Circus dress. Thanks to Fernanda again for the heads up!
