Emma posted a new EMS. She talks about getting ready for Deathly Hallows production. She's also mentioned sitting for her SAT's so she can possibly go to American Universities and she enjoyed a final vacation in Cuba before filming. So head over to her official site for the EMS.

William Tempest, whose dress design Emma wore to the Despereaux premiere, has won the Vauxhall Fashion Scout Merit Award. He seems to be a designer to watch and I wish him the best in the new year. The following article has a small Emma mention about her wearing his dress design to the Despereaux premiere.
http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/lifestyle-fashion/stylenews/William+Tempest-6967.html
You can't help but love him after this really insightful interview that has many Emma mentions. Personally, I hope she wears one of his dresses to the HBP premiere.
http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/lifestyle-fashion/stylecelebs/William+Tempest-6689.html
One cool mention:
"....How did Emma Watson come to wear one of your designs?
Well, she was at the Fashion Fringe show and I just thought Oh My God, can't believe Emma Watson is here, and you know I just wanted to dress her and then she really liked me too. I actually got in touch with her, and spoke to her and her assistant and they were so glad because they wanted to get in touch with me anyway. So then she had loads of garments that she took to Paris with her, but the only one she's really been photographed in is that one. It's been in everything too, so I'm happy."
Tale of Despereaux did well at the box office. It's made close to 69 million at this point. According to box office mojo, it cost around 60 million to make (cheap compared to other animations) so it's past that already. And that's before DVD sales! So all is good.
I'm really looking foreword to hearing more and Napoleon and Betsy. I love peroid dramas. I saw an interesting article that mentioned Ben Kingsley again as Napoleon. It was from a Bulgaria news source that was writing about upcoming movies to be filmed in Bulgaria. But since Mr. Kingsley is currently filming Prince of Persia that may explain why N&B has been moved to 2010. The translated article:
Bulgaria becomes a shooting place for some of the biggest Hollywood productions this year. Sylvester Stallone and Emma Watson (Hermoine from Harry Potter franchise) are just a small part of the stars that will arrive on BG land.Dolph Lundgren is now shooting Command Performance in the National Palace Of Culture (NDK) in Sofia…..Another big name, who’s been looking at the surroundings of Sofia for a week is the 6 times nominated for Oscar Australian director Peter Weir (The Truman Show, Master and Commander). He’s looking for a place to shoot his new movie, which is an adaptation of Alexandr Solzhenitsyn’s bestseller “The Gulag Arhopelago”. The shooting begins this autumn.“Napoleon and Betsy” Is the next movie waiting for it’s turn. In the beginning Al Pacino and Scarlett Johansson were meant to star. But Scarlett refused and because of that Pacino did the same. Their replacements will be Emma Watson and Ben Kingsley. Right now the founder of Nu Image Avi Lerner is in Sofia. He is in BG to make the schedule and to decide when will be each film shot. His brother, the director Danny Lerner prepares a sequel of “Finding Rin Tin Tin”, for which he’ll use the sets of “Ninja”. The BG fans of Stallone will get the chance to see him live. He’s now writing the script for Rambo 5. He’s decided to shoot it in BG. The action star requires strict conditions for the sets. He wants the sets to be exactly like the home town of Rambo.Except of Nu Image some other major Hollywood companies begin to show interest in BG. After the cheap filming of otherwise big budgeted 20th Century Fox’s Hitman the company has decided to film another big budget movie here. There’s already a casting for Neanderthal men, who will be the main characters in the plot. The shooting will be at least 3 months in the mountainous regions. The producers of “Hotel Rwanda” came up with the idea to shoot a movie for the BG nurses in Libya. They shot so far some documentary footage and some interviews with the nurses themselves and with some BG politicians, which they’ll use for the plot. The filming is expected to begin sometime in 2009 with the working title “The Benghazi Six” . For the main roles there are even mentioned names such as Angelina Jolie, Maryl Streep, Benicio Del Toro, Cate Blanchet and Jeffrey Rush.

Emma Watson- Despereaux updates
UPDATED!!!!Emma is smack dab in the middle of promoting Tale of Despereuax. At the press conference she received very high praise from award winning producer, Gary Ross.
"Yet for all the talent on board, Ross, the director of Seabiscuit and Pleasantville, saves his highest praise for Watson.
I think she is the most talented young actress of her generation. I think of everybody coming out of the Harry Potter movies, with all due respect to them, she's the one you go, 'Oh my god, this is a classic movie star and will have a very, very long career.'
She has a Kate Hepburn grace or Grace Kelly countenance, in terms of her style and bearing and how articulate she is, and at the same time she is a hell of a good actress. She's somebody who has complete control over what she's doing and amazing facility. The girl's 18 years old.
You're seeing someone who's going to be an enormous movie star. You're seeing someone who just brings so much craft and dignity in what she does and approaches it.
Look at her contemporaries . . . and look at how this girl is handling both her career and her attitude toward her craft, and how in control of her craft she is. I've worked with a lot of actors and she can make complex adjustments on a dime. She has tremendous control. This is a very sophisticated actress already."

There are fantastic outtakes from the Sunday Times photo session.
Go to Watson Daily for the pics (she's darn right sexy in these!)
Emma did a million video and radio interviews for ToD. Well, not a million but certainly more than any Harry Potter promotion. Here are some of my faves: (when I get a chance I'll post more)
BBC1 radio with Edith Bowman:http://www.emmadaily.com/pictures/thumbnails.php?album=158
Telegraph online:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92CKcGJHjtw
BBC4- Womens hour:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TH9MIN_d1Ok
BBc radio with Steve Wright:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5i9wGjPrbY
Early reviews are coming out for ToD. They basically seem to be all over the place. But Emma and the rest of the amazing cast are getting good reviews!

Emma Watson confirms she's attached to Napoleon and Betsy
Great news! Emma has confirmed that she is definitely attached to Napoleon and Betsy. I don't know if it was the various strikes Hollywood has endured recently but she is now hoping to film the movie in 2010. She also confirmed she will be attending university in September so she will be a busy girl.

Emma Watson will be on the Today Show and other updates
Emma Watson will be on the Today show in NY in the near future. It'll be for the Tale of Despereaux movie promotion. Emma, Matthew Broderick, Kevin Bacon, members of Fall Out Boy, and many others are going to be special celebrity guest "elves" and help with the gift collection every morning at 8:30 am. I imagine Emma will be there around December 19th, give or take a few days.
Emma was also named a hero by Field and Stream. Fellow Harry Potter costar Tom Felton was also named a hero. This is probably about Emma's involvement with the Wild Trout fund. If anybody has a scan please send it in to the email above. To read more about all of the 2008 F&S heroes and villains, see “A Year in Review: The best (and worst) of hunting and fishing” in the Dec. ’08/Jan. ’09 double issue.http://fieldandstream.blogs.com/news/current_affairs/index.html
On Nov. 24th, there was a special screening of Despereaux for the media. Hopefully that means some early reviews will come out.
Also Universal submitted Tale of Despereaux for Oscar consideration. See article here:
Emma is also up for Teen Vogue's best dressed of the year. Vote for her at this link:
On a Harry Potter note, the new trailer is on before Twilight. Even cooler, Hermione is in it plenty!
Plus, ABC Family continues the holiday cheer with its “Harry Potter” weekend Dec. 5 to 7, airing the first four installments of the popular film series as part of the network’s “25 Days of Christmas” programming event, officials said Monday. The trio and Michael Gambon will be discussing the upcoming Harry Potter movie plus there will be unseen footage introduced.
Emma turned on the lights at the Somerset House ice skating rink a few days ago. Emma enjoyed an evening with her adorable family after the ceremony. There are so many photos to be found on the net, I will just post my faves.

Emma Watson makes best dressed in London list
Emma Watson has been recognized by ES Magazine for being one of London's best dressed women according to Vogue (UK.) I don't know what place she came in, but just being on the list is amazing in itself. I'll update when more info comes in.
Tale of Despereaux will be hitting the theaters in about a month so some promotional photos are being released. There are two cute ones with Emma posing with Princess Pea.

A really great trailer for Despereaux has also been released. There is more Pea, thus more of Emma's lovely voice.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDnUNKr5baY
There also have been a few old articles recirculating in the news recently. I have no idea why they are coming up again but it must be a slow news week. (or they just miss Emma.)
The first was one was about dating being stressful and being linked to every guy she's seen with. This was first posted post Johnny Borrell.
http://fametastic.co.uk/archive/20081108/13994/emma-watson-datings-even-more-stressful-because-im-famous/
The second old new news is that Emma gets sent lots of Bibles as gifts.

Lastly, Emma updated her official site with an EMS.

Emma Watson has new boyfriend
Well it is a new month afterall! This time she is rumored to be dating an Australian lad by the name of Angus Willoughby. No sources were given in the article and I have no idea what reputation this paper has so I have no idea how accurate it is. ( I do like the picture they ran with the story though.) Nuff said- link:
http://www.thewest.com.au/default.aspx?MenuID=5&ContentID=105923
"A former Christ Church Grammar School boy has turned the head of British actress Emma Watson, best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the blockbusting Harry Potter series.
Angus Willoughby, 19, is reported to be going out with Watson. The pair is understood to be planning a holiday in the south-west of the State this summer and will be taking time out to make the most of WA's wineries and beaches.
Willoughby, the son of the late Olympic rower Tim Willoughby, is studying at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.
He was captain of drama while at Christ Church and has performed in a number of theatre productions.
Willoughby lists among his skills, weapons handling, boxing, cooking and classical piano.
Watson, who turned 18 in April, is listed as one of Britain’s richest young millionaires with a personal wealth in excess of $230 million."
UPDATE!!!
Well, they changed the picture in the link above. Emma's picture is no longer there but you can see what Angus looks like. To be honest, I don't care who she's dating. She's 18, teens date. I'm would have liked to have read that she was planning on visiting Australia with her Australian friend because she is planning on filming Napoleon and Betsy in nearby Fiji!!!! That's why I'm not a journalist, I don't know what sells.

Pacino and Napoleon
Howard Rosenman wrote a really fascinating article about the film "Milk." He talks about how he was cast in the film and a naked Franco. To be honest after reading about a naked Franco I almost forgot about the Napoleon mention. But the interesting thing is that he called the film "Betsy and Napoleon." So I don't know if he's talking about Napoleon and Betsy, the film Emma Watson is "interested" in. Perhaps he is still talking about the other Napoleon project, the Monster of Longwood. However if they changed the name to Betsy and Napoleon, that is very interesting in itself. Also Alexandra Milchan, who co-produced righteous Kill starring Al Pacino, is the co-producer for Napoleon and Betsy. The saga continues. But I'm a huge fan of Pacino so I would love to see him in a film with Emma. Here's to hoping.
