Emma Watson People Tree Video and new collection photos

Emma updated her facebook page today saying she was basically spending time with the family and ready to head back to Brown University. She wrote the same message on her twitter account as well.

George confirmed today that Emma and him are NOT in a relationship because they both are busy (and Emma going to Brown for most of the year won't help.) But he said the sweetest things about her and you can't help that somehow they will work things out.  Source OK Magazine.

Harry Potter beauty Emma Watson was rumoured to be dating One Night Only rocker George Craig after she appeared in his video Say You Don't Want It, but apparently their hectic schedules got in the way.

He revealed: “I’m a single man. We really fancy each other but are just good friends.

"We’re not boyfriend and girlfriend. We both live such busy lifestyles.

"In an ideal world, for me anyway, it would be great if we could be together but we can’t.

“I’m doing my thing and she’s doing hers. Maybe if the situation changed we might be together.”

Though he's unhappy at his single status, George – who first met Emma when they shot a modelling campaign for Burberry together - insists he values the actress’ friendship more than anything.

He added: “We went to Glastonbury together and there was a lot of chemistry between us.

“We like each other a lot and I have a lot of respect for her.

“She’s an amazing person and all that matters to me is I don’t lose her as a friend.”

Emma Watson and People Tree get royal treatment/Movie rumors

Emma Watson's new clothing line is going to get the royal treatment according to Vogue. Her spring/summer 2011 collection will get a preview at The Prince of Wales' eco festival, A Garden Party To Make A Difference. The fashion show will take place on September 12 at 3.30pm and will be held in the historic Friary Court of St James' Palace.

Also according to The Evening Standard Emma's fall/winter collection will be revealed next week.  We'll be keeping an eye People Tree to see what happens next.

According to SBS PopAsia, US Anime producer Matt Green field talks about the upcoming Hollywood live-action remake of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Is Emma Watson (Harry Potter's Hermione Granger) going to play Asuka Langley Soryu's character? An all new APS starts tonight at 11pm on SBS Radio and Digital. FM Frequencies in your Australian city listed on the "Info" tab.( A few years ago a producer/director mentioned he wanted Emma for the role of Asuka. Hopefully this rumor will be addressed on the webchat.)

Emma Watson Entertainment Weekly photos and more

Entertainment Weekly released its annual movie preview and Harry Potter once again was on its cover (although admittingly not one of the best covers.) Good news is not only was there new photos released from Deathly Hallows but we got a new stunning photos of our Ms. Watson. She was born to wear a pixie cut.

“I’m ready to kind of move on now, I think,” Grint said between takes. “This film is a great way to finish the whole era, and it’s going to be sad, because obviously all my friends are here, but 10 years is enough.” The three of them were shooting a scene in the Room of Requirement in which Harry, Ron, and Hermione are searching for a horcrux — in this case, the tiara-like Ravenclaw diadem. Watson and Grint were both sopping wet. (In the film, Ron and Hermione have recently destroyed another horcrux in water and were pursued by a Voldemort-shaped tsunami.) Grint and Watson were kept soaked by crew members, who sprayed the pair down every few minutes. It was not making Watson happy. “It’s been this way for weeks,” she said, shivering next to a space heater. “I hate to sound whiny, but it’s horrible. It’s miserable being wet all the time.” She shrugged and added flatly: “But, you know, I was told it will look very dramatic when you see the films, so it will be worth it.”

Emma Watson announces 100 Days to Harry Potter

Today Emma announced that it is only 100 days away till part one of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hits the theaters . To celebrate this WB not only released photos of Emma but has released a video featuring Emma announcing a contest where 100 free permiere tickets will be given out. Emma Watson reps deny The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo rumor

Emma Watson's reps have denied the laughable Sun story that Emma cut her hair to get a role in "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." She cut her hair because she wanted to. Simple enough.

It looks like the Gossip Cop is the only site that checked with Emma's reps.  "The rumor is “absolutely false on all accounts,” a rep for Watson tells Gossip Cop"

According to Edith Bowman's (BBC)  twitter, Emma did an interview with her today and Edith had some very nice things to say about Emma. "Emma Watson is one down to earth, funny, lovely young lady. Hair is stunning. We both nearly lost it when talking about the end of HP."

Emma Watson's visit to Bangladesh

First of all there was a funny Emma story posted on twitter...enjoy!

Wonder why the paparazzi didn't catch Emma at the party. It seems Emma has developed some pretty good paparazzi avoidance skills

Bangladesh

Snitchseeker has posted and article that chronicles Emma's trip to Bangladesh.

"In search of fashion, Emma arrived at the small village of Khanapara. There, She went to visit the workers of Khanapara Soyaloj Development Society. She sat with them and learned how to sew properly and tried her hand at sewing.
Emma's trip to Bangladesh has been very hush hush. She has been preparing to visit the country for over a year. The manager of Soyaloj society said, "I've been communicating with Emma for over a year through e-mail but her schedule is so busy that she couldn't find time. She was planned to visit twice before but had to cancel last minute. But finally she made it on July 6th."
On July 6th, Emma flew to Dhaka and upon arriving, took a train straight to Rajshahi. She enjoyed the whole train ride very much. She showed childlike enthusiasm for the miles of green fields on either side and was surprised to find children playing football in the mud without any clothes.
She arrived at Rajshahi around nightfall and a car ride from there took her to the village of Khanapara. The next day, she went around town and looked around the whole Soyaloj society.
First she learned to color the threads, then sewing, cutting clothes, and operating the sewing machine. She sat with deep concentration as she cut the clothes properly and then sewed them up using the sewing machine. She went to visit the daycare center and the elementary schools of the kids of the female workers at soyaloj. She gave the kids books and bought them breakfast.
In the afternoon, she took a boat ride to the Padma river. As soon as their boat left, a water dolphin popped up. The bubbly Emma started clapping and dancing like a little girl and said, "I am so lucky! I just got in the water and came across a river dolphin."
She was humming a song during the entire boat ride. At first, it was difficult to understand what she was humming but it was clear in the evening when she sang that song for everybody at the Soyaloj singathon. Though at one time, the workers at Soyloj were in a bit of a loss when Emma expressed her interest in getting a ride around town on a Rickshaw. She sent her security away after refusing to listen to their many objections, hopped on a Rickshaw and went around town waving her feet up and down.
On 8th July, she took pictures wearing the clothes made at Soyaloj and that afternoon she took a train back to Dhaka.
There has been no diffculty about Emma's security in this very secretive trip. At the station, streets, trains... everyone saw her but no one could believe that Emma would actually come to Bangladesh and without even any noise. But one university student recognized her staright away. He walked right up to her and asked if she was Emma Watson. Emma gave a shy smile and nodded her head. The excited boy asked to take a picture with her with his cell phone, to which she complied.
The manager at Soyaloj requested the guy to not tell others about Emma. The guy agreed but with one condition... if they let his friend take a picture with Emma also. Emma waited as he called his friend and then posed for a picture with the two guys standing on either side of her.

On 9th July, Emma left Dhaka but before leaving she expressed her desire to come back again. Everyone says that but Emma's reasoning is a bit different.

She said that, "When I was handing out gifts to the children at school, many of them didn't say Thank You, but simply smiled at me. Your smile comes from the heart, not from the mouth. And in our country, a lot of people says 'Thank you' from the mouth but not from the heart. And to see that meaningful smile of yours, I want to come back here again."
When Emma was leaving, her smile also seemed to come from her heart.

It looks like Emma is back in the UK. She was seen by guests at the Harry Potter "fun fair" wrap party. One grainy candid photo of Emma signing an autograph for a fan has surfaced. Thanks to the person who graciously put it on facebook. The paparazzi weren't that lucky.

New Emma Watson short hair photos

Emma will be on the cover of the August 13th issue of Entertainment Weekly! Some new quotes about her hair cut experience and photos have been released. Her comments by her father are amusing to say the least. Considering that she has been trending on twitter for 2 days now and is topping search engine lists, I think we can all agree it was good she found her happy place. Media websites like People are still talking about her new hair style. MTV has had about 4 articles.

She could have cut her hair immediately, but she decided to wait a bit. “It didn’t feel right then; I needed a break,” she tells EW.com exclusively. During the cut, designed by New York stylist Rodney Cutler of Cutler Salon, Watson never had a moment of panic or remorse. “It was weird. My hairdresser was like, ‘When are you going to freak out?’ Most people cry or go into shock,’” she says. “But I was very calm. I knew it was the right thing.” It helped, she said, that she didn’t tell anyone she was getting the drastic ‘do. “I went to the salon alone and I left alone,” she says. “I knew everyone was going to have an opinion, and I couldn’t deal with it. I have to get myself into a good place to deal with people saying things like, ‘It’s terrible! She looks like a boy!’” Says the actress, laughing, “My dad already said that to me, actually. He said, ‘You’re not Audrey Hepburn yet, darling.’”


Ouch. Thanks, Dad? “He’s like that. I think the best I’ve ever had out of him was before a premiere when he said I ‘scrub up alright.’ When people ask me how I keep myself grounded, there’s the answer."

Emma Watson releases official photo of new hair style

Emma released a statement on facebook and twitter that she did indeed hack off her hair and she loves it. It seems her bold, drastic hair cut is getting positive reviews from the fashion world. (My first thought was Mia Farrow from Rosemary's Baby but better.)  There are literally hundreds of articles released today from MTV to MSNBC.

She even got props from Go Fug Yourself. The Daily Mail felt her look was more edgyand had a cool Mia and Emma comparison. Her friend Derek Blasberg tweeted:  "YES Emma Watson cut off all her hair, Potter fans. Had dinner with her and thought she looked chic, adult, sweet and fabulously un-Hermionie"

Entertainment Weekly  has an exclusive photo in color and it's amazing. She looks very young and chic. Her hair color is beautiful- almost bronze.

Emma got her hair cut off! Cutler Salon posted earlier on facebook that the owner had given Emma a new cut and they weren't lying.
